We operate two large roomy 26 foot Alumaweld Super Vee boats with 225 horsepower mercury 4-stroke jet engines, smooth running, quiet and no smoke. Boats are fully heated with a custom top. A VERY NICE RIDE. FOR THE SMALLER RIVERS ... We operate two 16 foot Jet Sleds, with 60 horsepower mercury 4-stroke engines. These compact boats turn fast, and run in very shallow water safely. They handle like a sport car. An extremely efficient fish catching boat for the small waters. Columbia River & It's Tributaries Near Record Run Predicted The Columbia River upstream from the mouth of the Willamette River is predicted to have a huge run of SPRINGERS. If you are in the right place at the right time you should have some outstanding fishing. Some of the tributaries will be good and some will be only fair. We intend to stay where the fishing is good. The Lower Columbia below I-5 at Portland will only be open from March 24th through April 4th. There will be no gillnetting below I-5 in the main Columbia. There should be some very good SALMON Fishing in this area during this short season. APPROACH TO THIS SCENARIO Start down in the estuary March 24th through April 4th. We fish this area every year and do well. When this closes, we will move upstream with the largest mass of fish. I-5 to Bonneville should be real good fishing through April. In April and May we will be fishing the Lewis River. This little river is good SALMON Fishing if you know how to fish it. "We Do." From this time on through the season, we will be fishing both the tributarie rivers and the Columbia. As these fish proceed over Bonneville Dam we will move on up to the Wind River and Drano Lake. Drano Lake is expecting another record run (38,000 fish). We know how to catch them and we will be there when it is hot. This should be very good fishing. As the main body of fish move on up the Columbia we will be with them. We do this every year ... this could just be some of the best SPRING KING Fishing you have ever experienced. Following this plan, we will be able to show you some good SALMON Fishing throughout the season. AT THE MOUTH OF THE COLUMBIA RIVER WORLD CLASS We fish these fish in the sand flats and channels in the estuary above and below the Astoria Bridge. This is the best STURGEON Fishing I have ever experienced, and I have been fishing and guiding Sturgeon fishermen and ladies my whole life.
