CLANCY & RON'S FISHING NEWS AUGUST 31 , 2010
OVER A MILLION KING AND SILVER SALMON RETURNING TO THE COLUMBIA RIVER AND IT'S TRIBUTARIES THIS FALL
MOUTH OF THE COLUMBIA.
The salmon fishing has been excellent in the lower Columbia. Limits of kings have come easily almost every day for both Ron and my clients. We have been catching some silvers along with our kings. Now the silvers have arrived in numbers and limits of kings and silvers both are a reality. I have had an excellent season and Ron success has been spectacular. He is catching fish faster and easier, by far than anyone else I have observed. Double and triple hookups are happening all the time for him. He has a couple days open because of cancellations for this fishery. You should join him in this good fishing. Then we move into the lower Cowlitz River for some more spectacular salmon fishing.
COWLITZ RIVER KING AND SILVER SALMON
When all these fish head into the tributaries we will be there to. September 8, we move into the Cowlitz River and start fishing salmon. A mixed bag of silvers and kings. This may be the best salmon fishing in the northwest. We fish them clear into November. Try it you will like it.
NEED LODGING? We have it right here on our property. The Bunkhouse. A very nice, fully furnished, equipped studio apartment. It has an extra bedroom. The deck and barbecue overlook the backyard and roping arena. Get a good night's sleep prior to your fishing day. Then just follow your guide to the boat launch.
